On both systems I have Public sharing turned off, 128 bit encryption, and Password protected sharing turned off. I discovered that I had an old entry for this share drive that had an incorrect IP address. Sorry have to ask....Have you tried rebooting it? First, I had file sharing and network access for everyone allowed on some of my Windows 7/8 machines, therefore Windows 10 should not meddle and interfere, especially since everything worked smoothly Other PC's on the network can be seen but my Synology NAS and Humax HDR only show under media devices when they used to appear under Computers as well. Don't hide it next time.

After encountering the above I changed it to Admin level but this did not resolve the issue of creating a folder on one of the drives. In Vista, Windows Explorer, I could access all the folders and files on all the NAS boxes.
