That totally fouled the works. Type the new password and click Next. I upgraded two desktops (from win 7 and win 8.1) to Win 10. But my issue with MS is that they don't have any instruction on this. Check This Out

I have never paid attention till lately when i tried to make my own network, i do not get the option to select home/work/public/domain. I've tried various suggestions on the net, to no avail. I have gone through all the troubleshooting procedures, but to no avail. I had no option to leave the homegroup.

The 3rd can open files on the other 2 but the other 2 can't open files on the third even though the files are visible. After all these months searching, finally works as it should. I had homegroup working just fine. I'm perfectly happy with 7, and I do have 2 copies of 8.1 running on my test computers in multiple boot configurations along with 10.
