It is visible when the laptop turns on, but it immediately disappears afterwards. Loading... My initial guess is that there could be a spot on the touchscreen getting hit constantly or forcing the mouse to move, causing the cursor to instantly disappear. This Chromebook (considered my "production" Chromebook) is on Stable Channel, 54.0.2840.93 (64 bit), and in "vanilla Development Mode" (meaning no development changes made, other than Crouton, without anything installed under it). check over here

I would like to be able to have better control of the videos via the mouse. First day using my new Hisense Chromebook and the touchpad and mouse is constantly freezing? When it works it works well. It looks like the bug in Chrome OS 35 is not limited to just effecting the touch to click.

Boothy I use beta channel and had several issues in 35 (early on) with the trackpad. From not registering double tap, to just completely freezing up/pointer disappearing.
