Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is currently one of the most successful tools at identifying and removing the types of malware that we're talking about here. On the right side, you can select each of the tasks (scroll down to see all of them) individually, then either enable or disable them on the bottom right, individually. Once downloaded, rename the program installer "mbam-setup.exe" file to something else like "Your Name.exe", then copy the installer file and the update file to a CD or flash drive.. Norton is now compatible with Windows 8. Yet, no other "home page" is listed below the first active "home page;" 3. Files of any type won't open. (Although for some reason Superantispyware will open and run, but changes nothing) Not just exe.... I ran the computer in safe mode and loaded rkill from a flash drive.
