I made the recovery partition just fine but its taking up 32gb when only using 21.5GB of space leaving over 10gb not usable. I useally have to do this about every month. For example, a USB to IDE/SATA adapter. The hard drive makes no odd sounds and spins as usual. I can only assume it's the board on the drive that's damaged.
